Holiday Inn Ottawa East by IHG

I had a wonderful overnight stay at Holiday Inn Ottawa East. The room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. I truly appreciated the complimentary bottle of water and chocolates, as well as the complimentary breakfast at Myra’s. The breakfast was excellent—fresh, delightful, and very satisfying. I was especially impressed with the service from the front desk. Mel gave me a very warm and welcoming greeting, which made my stay even more pleasant. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience. This is definitely one of the best places to stay in Ottawa East, and I would happily recommend it to others.

This is a very nice hotel. Rooms are clean, good location because it's within walking distance to the #SaintLaurent mall. There is a pool and breakfast is warm and good. But what I liked the most was the service. The girl at the front desk was very professional and accommodated my requests. I asked her to take champagne to my daughter and son-in-law's room because it was their first night as a married couple. In addition to doing me the favour, they also upgraded their room, without being asked. It's actions like these that make people like me choose their hotel chain to stay, whenever needed.

I always have a great stay at this Holiday Inn. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making the experience very pleasant overall. What really stood out was the excellent service at the front desk, especially SAGAR. He always greet warmly with a smile, was polite, helpful, and genuinely a great person to interact with. His positive attitude made a big difference and truly enhanced my stay. Highly recommend this hotel for both the comfort and the outstanding customer service.

Loved my stay at the Holiday Inn. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food they serve at breakfast at dinner. Very tasty and nicely presented. Samir was very attentive with me every morning and even remembered my preferences when it comes to food. I was very impressed. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was very comfortable and exceeded our expectations. I’d also like to highlight the excellent service from Lays and Sam — both were incredibly attentive and made our experience even better. Overall, an excellent choice. Highly recommended!

We love Holiday Inn! Whenever we having a short trips - we’re choosing Holiday Inn. The biggest benefit is that they’re pet friendly. We love our stay, and definitely will choose this hotel over and over again. Beds were super comfortable, rooms small but very clean, food is good. Swimming pool was warm and also clean.

The water beside the front desk was delicious and so refreshing!!! Everyday was a different infusion of fruits or veggies. My husband filled his water bottle plenty of times during our stay and told everyone - and I mean EVERYONE - how good the water is LOL! The location is good. There was a huge two-story mall across the street. The parking is private and monitored. Parking was free. It had plenty of plug-ins for electric cars. All of the staff we interacted with were very kind, courteous and professional. Also knowledgeable about the hotel and surrounding areas, restaurants, things to do, etc. The staff - from the managers, the front desk, the housekeepers, and maintenance crew who we interacted with were all so welcoming and friendly. They made it feel really special in a way I can't describe. One thing I noticed, and the only thing that I had a concern about, was on our floor (9) the carpeting was wrinkled and separating in the hallway. This is a tripping hazard, & my concern is there could be someone (elderly especially) unstable on their feet who could have a serious fall if they tripped over those vertical humps. (There was a hockey camp or something hockey related going on during our stay. The hotel, the elevators, the lobby, the stairs, the pool, and floors were FLOODED with young rambunctious boys. They were loud. Bratty. And to a lot of guests, they were very annoying. We heard so many guests getting very upset with the kids and how no one was stopping their unpleasant behaviours. It did look like the staff felt very uncomfortable and bothered by them, especially when they were all over the lobby and/or playing around in the elevators unsupervised - not letting anyone on, pushing all the buttons, etc. But you know what? None of that was the hotel's fault. These were just kids being kids. To the people that were upset and let the boys' rambunctious behaviours ruin their vacation: I feel sorry for you. Have a glass of water and take a seat. It's gonna be awhile for the elevators, you'll get there eventually.)
